Retort systems
For industries using retorts to sterilize their products, we have developed systems for the loading and unloading of retorts and retort crates. These systems are all custom-built and are supplied with a degree of automation suitable for the individual application.

We manufacture systems for round and square retort crates, but systems using pallets and trays have been supplied to customers who have had to sterilize products in unstackable plastic containers or similar packs.

Full automation
Automatic dispensing and removal of divider plates is of course included. Transport of empty retort crates between the unloading and the loading stations can be included in the system.

Modular approach
Jorgensen also supply individual pieces of equipment, which later can be integrated into larger or more complete systems and we have considerable experience in finding the right solutions to suit new or existing retort systems.

Semi-automatic systems can also be supplied.
